We are proud to announce that, for the fourth consecutive year, M3 Knitwear took part as manufacturers in the final fashion show of the Master in Creative Knitwear Design at Accademia Costume & Moda, in collaboration with Modateca Deanna.
The event, held on 4 June 2026 at Fondazione Sozzani in Milan, showcased the final collections of fourteen international designers — the result of a programme that interweaves creative research, technological innovation, and Made in Italy craftsmanship.
This year, we had the privilege of producing the capsule collection by Viola Manzoni, entitled “Don’t Grow Up, It’s a Trap” — a project inspired by the fashion paper doll books that mark the childhood of so many young girls: those small, colourful objects onto which dreams, styles, and not-yet-formed identities are projected. Viola transformed this collective memory into a knitwear language that evokes playfulness, irony, and nostalgia with precise stylistic intent.
Bringing such a personal and narrative vision to the runway — translating it into technically refined, wearable garments — is exactly the kind of challenge that drives us. This is our fourth collaboration with the Master, and each year it reaffirms how productive and essential the dialogue between manufacturing, high level education  and emerging design truly is.
Our involvement extended beyond production. At Pitti Filati in Florence, from 24 to 26 June, we presented a dedicated section of our stand in partnership with the Master, showcasing our joint collections to an international audience of industry professionals — a meaningful opportunity to communicate the value of this partnership at the very heart of the knitwear supply chain.
We are already looking ahead to the next collaborations, with the same curiosity and commitment we bring to every project.
